Back during the campaign, the Community Organizer in Chief told us only the evil rich people would get tax increases: "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."
Naturally, right after taking office, he raised taxes on all the sinful people who smoke, most of them earning less than $250,000.
Now, to meet his cap and slave targets for the "pollutant" we exhale, we'll be taxed to drive our cars:

Gas at $7 per gallon will absolutely decimate the economy.
That sounds on par for the Obama administration's goals.
Snark, Obama publicly stated that he supported the increase in energy costs that would accompany his "green" policies. If I remember correctly, he stated that prices would "skyrocket." His ridiculous green policies, like all of his other policies, will continue to kills jobs. We've got to slow this train wreck down in November.

I want to know why it seems to be okay if we tax the rich? I mean really....as long as they aren't taking our families to the gulag, it's okay to let someone else go? Where does it stop?
Oh i'm sure gas won't reach $7 a gallon, i think even the most lazy obama supporters might get angry over that. $7 will just be the figure thrown about to get you all worked up, they'll settle for $4 and enough will breath a sigh of relief.
