Get Your Free Obama Phone

He never delivered on the Obamamaniac's desires for him to pay for their mortgage and gas, but Barack Obama  can give you a free phone. (Question: Since when does a government program have a .net address?)

Predictably, if you're already sucking on the government teat, you automatically qualify for a phone:
If you, or members in your household are, receiving the following benefits you automatically qualify for the Lifeline program. Those interested in the program must have an income of less than 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. (For example in the 48 Contiguous States and D.C the income level is $22,350 per year for a family of four.)
  • Food Stamps or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Security Income – commonly known as SSI
  • Health Benefit Coverage under Child Health Insurance Plan (CHIP)
  • The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program.
  • Low-Income Energy Assistance Program – LIHEAP
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance ( Section 8 )
  • If you are a low-income Eligible Resident of Tribal Lands
  • Temporary Assistance to Needy Families – TANF
Last year, the federal program paid out $1.6 billion to cover free cell phones and the monthly bills of 12.5 million wireless accounts. Naturally an audit showed that many people getting you to pay for their phones were taking more than their "fair share."
269,000 wireless Lifeline subscribers were receiving free phones and monthly service from two or more carriers.
You can imagine the number of participants is only going to climb. I mean, it's not like that money could be used to create jobs jobs jobs, or something.

But jobs have never been Obama's top priority; getting re-elected has. Does he really think giving someone a free phone will buy their vote?

Oh. Wait.

UPDATE+ Please Nuke Me

With apologies to Peter Gabriel...

Please nuke me
Help me remake my country
Putting teabagging to an end
I want to be your friend

Please nuke me
We need to be like Mao you see
I only have until two-thousand ten
I want to be your friend

Please nuke me (pretty please?)
I’m pushing for the new malaise
Tearing down the rich again
I want to be your friend

You got the rogue state, that's okay
Who needs security anyway
I got no common sense, bow down to your might
Call me in the White House if it all turns out right (Allright)

Please nuke me (please?)
Otherwise they’ll be coming for me
Stealing back majority again
I want to be your friend

Be-ee my friend, I wanna be your friend... [repeated several times]

You got the rogue state, that's okay
Who needs security anyway
I got no common sense, bow down to your might
Call me in the White House if it all turns out right (Allright)

Obama Coffeebags* America

Image via Michelle Malkin

"Everything's been said."

"The debate is over."

"I don't see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren't starting over."

"The time to act is now."

More than a year after summoning Congress to act, Obama said, while introducing the 7,490,592nd iteration of Obamacare: "This is where we've ended up."

Right at the gates of the eighth circle of Hell.

P.S. Check out how the Zombiecrats plan to roll out this latest monstrosity, at Right Klick's Obamacare Strategery.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Coffeebagging:
A spin-off of teabagging, the dipping of one's posterior onto the face of a lying-down victim.

Like teabagging, coffeebagging is often employed in first-person shooting games such as Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, where a player will squat over the body of a player who he/she has fragged. Hence the second player was "coffeebagged."

Halo 2: "You were coffeebagged by Chris

Chris: "I like coffeebagging"
And now the Conservative description of members of the bitter Coffee Party.

BTW: Remember when Obama said Zombiecrats shouldn't use reconciliation to pass Obamacare? Yeah. We shouldn't have expected him to honor that promise either.

Obama’s Olympic Pitch Falls Flat

More stupidity from the vacuous mind of Dr. Drama…

COPENHAGEN – In an attempt to bring home the 2016 Olympics to Chicago, pResident Barack Obama today unveiled his vision of the Games to the International Olympic Committee, complete with recommendations for new Chicago-style competitions he plans to enter.

But events following his pitch indicate the pResident’s meddling has once again caused a direct opposite of his intent.

“The time has come for America to open its arms to the world, after all of the shame it has caused over the past 233 years,” Obama said, tying to use his lagging powers of persuasion to convince the IOC that bad-mouthing America should be enough for members to award the Olympics to Chicago tomorrow over the other finalist cities of Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Madrid. “What better way to renew our global bonds than by hosting the world at the 2016 Olympics in Chicago? Not only that, but I also propose that the IOC see fit to add special events to mark the occasion, including gangland death beatings, shootings near my neighborhood, and our time-honored Chicago specialty, graft.”

Obama said he would personally attempt to medal five times in other competitions he proposed, including voter mind control, if you can’t sell your story change it, make it up as you go along, blame Bush, and, his most successful event to date, hopeless change.

“Let me be clear, I’m the first American president ever to lobby this committee because this … is all about me … and … I needed an excuse not to go to work today, anyway,” he said to stunned committee members, some of whom -- not accustomed to such hubris -- looked as if Michelle Obama had just put their cullions in a vice grip.

Immediately after the speech, Vegas was giving Obama 2 - 1 odds for achieving 5 gold medals if the Games were awarded to Chicago, but a Rasmussen poll revealed that 95 percent of IOC members said The Windy City would have stood a better chance if Obama had stayed home and kept his mouth shut and tended to more important matters, such as the disintegrating war in Afghanistan and the giant middle finger Iran is building atop its newly revealed nuclear facility.

Obama’s speech apparently turned off the IOC so badly that members were leaning toward awarding the 2016 games to either Tokyo or Rio de Janeiro.

“I don’t know what it is about that guy Obama, but when he opens his mouth, it’s almost as if he emits a foul stench so disgusting it immediately turns the stomachs of everyone, even people watching him on TV,” said one committee member, who chose to remain anonymous. “He has an awfully delusional opinion of his powers of persuasion. Frankly, they’re rot, and so is he, if you ask me.”

One theory is that Tokyo is now the odds on favorite because Tokyo governor Shintaro Ishihara warned the IOC that Godzilla is someday going to destroy Japan, and 2016 would likely be the last chance Tokyo would have to host the Games.

However, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is said to have promised the notoriously corrupt IOC lifetime passes to any of the country’s nude beaches in exchange for the 2016 Olympics, so Rio de Janeiro can’t be ruled out.

Sources close to Obama indicate the pResident is now prepared to reverse his “war of necessity” to bring the Olympics to Chicago and, instead, follow a policy of appeasement, if the leader of the winning country would only be his friend.

UPDATE: A satirist AND a friggin' prophet:

The shock of Chicago's elimination was greater for the fact that it came in the first round. And greater for the fact that President Obama had taken valuable hours from his packed and tense political schedule to travel to Copenhagen. His legendary powers of persuasion will be said to have failed him, though in reality it will be Chicago's bid that failed him. Nonetheless, this is a moment which allows the president's detractors to allege waning prestige on the part of his presidency. And it will raise questions about the political advice that he is receiving.

Cool Words You Can Use in the House of NON-Representatives

pResident Barack Obama is something hated, something oppressive, who runs a bunch of thugs who pass themselves off as our half-baked nitwits handling foreign affairs, using legislative or judicial pork to become a disgrace to the country.

Really. It says so right here.

Sounds about right to me.

All Your Hand Washes Are Belong to Us

Image via JEFFHEAD.COM

"Kids, wash your hands." More great expert advice from the king of the moonbat zombies.

Should they also stop breathing, Dr. Evil? I'm betting that would be great for your spiraling deficit and your need to have national health care passed.

UPDATE: And will Democrats investigate the production of Obugger's speech to the kiddies... like they did when HW talked to kiddies in 1991?

Probably not; they're too busy fighting amongst themselves... exactly the place we need them to be. While they're at it, maybe they can do us all a favor and cough on each other and shake hands without washing.

That'll be $595,000 a Pound, Mr. Obama

Here's economic stimulus for you, and yet another sign of President Barack Obama's brilliance.

Over at the Obama web site set up to show us just where the funny money is going, and what it's stimulating, we find out key economic details of this country's recovery, such as ham that costs $595,000 a pound.

You know this link will disappear once Obugger finds out the blogosphere is all over this little tidbit of government ham and cheese, so I'm pasting the information over here, a bit awkward to read but still clear as a bell.

Just one question, Mr. President? How much did the mustard cost?

UPDATE: Well, then...someone must have received a lot of calls this a.m. in D.C. because they're out defending ham. It was the packaging size: States bought 760,000 pounds, at $1.50 a pound, to feed the hungry.

Now...if only they'd react this quickly when we try to shut down their circuit boards with outraged calls over Porkulus and Omnibus and Cap-and-Slave and Obuggercare.

Not likely. They only like to point out when others are wrong...never when they're wrong.

Newspapers Added to Endangered Species List

Yeah…I beat up some hooker so now I have to sell newspapers: They’re made in Germany; you know the Germans always make good stuff!

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Citing a patriotic duty to save community newspapers from themselves, the Senate, authorized by the president, exercised special emergency powers today, taking the extraordinary move of adding all newspapers to the endangered species list.

"We need to save our community newspapers and the biased journalism they provide," said Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md. “After all, how many Democrats in Congress -- for that matter in the White House -- owe their elections to fine journalists, their smearing political coverage of Republicans, and their cheerleading for even the most brain-dead and criminal candidates from the Party of the Ass?”

Newspapers will take the place of the gray wolf, which the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service removed from the endangered list yesterday. Effective immediately, it is a federal hate crime to hunt and kill newspaper reporters, notorious predators themselves known for preying on unsuspecting hard-working Americans, calling tax cuts “earnings increases” for the 50 percent of us who actually pay federal income taxes, and exalting to deity status lazy politicians with slick bumper sticker slogans like: “Yeah. We Can. But We’re Only Using You to Get Elected, So We Won’t.”

The good news, however, is that permits for new wolf hunting are expected to generate an extra $5 million annually for the federal government. The Congressional Budget Office predicts the added revenue will help the U.S. pay off President b. Hussein’s projected federal $400 googillion deficit by the time Earth’s molten core cools or the sun explodes, whichever comes first.

Layoffs, closings, and cutbacks had turned the nation's newspapers into an "endangered species" as readers and advertisers rushed to Web sites, said Sen. John Kerry, Dumbass, a strong advocate for moving every private business possible under federal control. “Now people won’t have to be subjected to reading real news, for free, from unbiased sources, such as community journalists and those awful, just awful, people they call bloggers.”

Endangered status gives all newspapers in the country, even the Penny Saver, non-profit status, the equivalent of the current business model of public radio stations. It also means that, for the first 11 weeks of every quarter, newspapers will now fill 95 percent of their pages with pleas for funding “from you, our loyal readers, so that we can bring you such wonderful running feature articles as Teddy Kennedy and his dog Splash and ‘My Nickname’s only KKK on the Plantation’ Robert Byrd and Rotting Air with Someone Really, Really Gross" -- in place of the advertisements that previously filled 95 percent of their pages.

“This non-profit business effectively gives all newspapers the equivalent of church status,” evil conservative pundit Dick Morris said today during Sean Hannity’s afternoon radio broadcast. “We’ll now be reading stories in the St. New York Times about the president’s date night and his holding hands with the first lady, how First Dog Bo and the president’s children spend their time playing Frisbee on the South Lawn, and the president’s fast-food trips with Vice President Biden to Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington. Oh. Wait. We already have been reading those stories in the Times.”

Annual government appropriations for all newspapers could run higher than the current $700 billion TARP bailout of the financial and insurance industry.

The president, interviewed while standing in line at Ray’s Hell Burger, downplayed the cost. “Psshaw!” he said, before looking for his teleprompter. When TOTUS was unavailable, the president referred comment to Treasury Secretary Tax-Cheat Tim Geithner. “Aw, shucks. We’ll just ask Ben (Bernanke) over at the Fed to print some more money. Tain’t nuthin’ but a thing,” Geithner said, before placing back on his ears headphones through which this reporter could clearly hear the lyrics “Ice, Ice, baby!”

When asked if he even really had the authority to grant the Senate emergency powers to make such stunning changes in the newspaper industry, the president shoved a burger in his mouth, held up his hands as if to say, “I got nothin’ for ya,” and offered this reporter White House Press Secretary Robert Ahhhh! Gibbs’ job. Gibbs could not be reached for comment.

Interviewed earlier, Kerry said these steps by the Senate will ensure the media remains biased, becomes state-run like media within every other self-respecting socialist dictatorship, and preserves the right of all 300 million Americans to receive “only the news the government sees fit to print.”

"As a means of conveying news in a timely way, paper and ink are less in vogue, eclipsed by the power, efficiency, and technological elegance of the Internet," Kerry said, talking through the side of his mouth, as usual, while about to toss his war medals at the Washington Monument. "But just looking at the erosion of newspapers is not the full picture; it's just one casualty of a completely shifting and churning information landscape."

[This reporter asked Kerry to translate his doublespeak into English, but he simply repeated himself over and over and over. Unfortunately, our expert government bullshit translator was unavailable for comment, so we just decided to print Kerry’s ramblings…along with this disclaimer.]

Kerry said he was concerned that traditional journalistic standards of bias and inaccuracy would have suffered if newspapers faltered, were forced to become leaner businesses, and, as a result, embraced free-market principles of competition, such as truth, fairness, and completely eradicating b. Hussein press idolization.

"But now, by adding newspapers to the endangered list, how cool is it that b. Hussein worship will continue?" he said. "And now we don’t have to worry about the important question of whether online journalists will teach traditional journalists the values of professional journalism, values the newspaper industry never has known…and now, thankfully…never will."

The Boston Globe in Kerry's home state was the latest major paper facing the threat of closure, but endangered species status effectively erases the Globe’s financial worries, transferring all of its debt to the American taxpayer, the nuevo poor in the time of B. Hussein.

What's NOT Covered by Pending Hate Crimes Legislation

Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) discusses "sexual orientation" and a long list of what's NOT covered by this pending bill, a slew of loony terms I'm pretty sure most friggin' people have never even heard, in yet another arrogant display of nothing more than truly wasting your money in the felonious enterprise of "remaking" America.

I can't wait for the hate "thoughts" legislation to come down the pike. Will "individualism" be covered or not?

Obamas Fly in Chef 860 Miles... Just to Make Pizza

What a nice friggin' use of taxpayer money there b. Hussein.

All hail the king...the pizza king...he can do anything. Except separate a captain from 4 smelly pirates in a floating dingy in the middle of an ocean.

When you're the president of the United States, only the best pizza will do - even if that means flying a chef 860 miles.

Chris Sommers, 33, jetted into Washington from St Louis, Missouri, on Thursday with a suitcase of dough, cheese and pans to to prepare food for the Obamas and their staff.

He had apparently been handpicked after the President had tasted his pizzas on the campaign trail last autumn.

Speaking of Black Presidents

HOPE, Ark. — A bill that would make Bill Clinton's first home in Hope a National Historic site has passed the House and needs only the president's signature to become law.

The House of Representatives voted 285-140 on the measure that included the wording that would bring the Clinton home on Hervey Street under the National Park Service as one of 33 presidential historic sites.

The Senate earlier passed the bill, which now heads to President Barack Obama. U.S. Representative Mike Ross (D-Ark.), who has worked for years to help Clinton's first home attain federal status, said Obama is expected to sign the bill.

Let me guess...this will stimulate the economy, too.

Cardboard Coyotes Fool Police into Take Down

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

SARNIA, Ont. - A cardboard cutout of a coyote designed to scare off Canada geese in Centennial Park proved so realistic it prompted an attempted police takedown.

City hall staff saw the animal cutouts advertised and, hoping they might help reduce goose droppings in the waterfront park, spent $60 on a pair and set them up last summer.

But after a few weeks the cutouts vanished.

"We just figured vandals took them," said Terry McCallum, Sarnia's director of community services. "You can't put up any really fancy signs in the park because they usually disappear."

But the full story has only now emerged.

A jogger out for a run early one morning came across the coyote cutouts and was so startled she ran to a nearby construction site. There she told a worker a coyote had "barked" at her and she was afraid it would give chase, McCallum said.

The worker called 911 and Sarnia police were dispatched. They arrived on the scene and quickly surrounded the coyote, only then discovering it was made of cardboard.

Well...there's a nice use of government resources.
