I'd planned to take some time away, to collect my thoughts, to post something of substance later, because ... the reality is: We're at war. And what's coming is not for the feint of heart.

This is a RINO. He's Anh "Joseph" Cao, the lone Republican who voted for yesterday's Obamanation. Like everyone in the House, he is vulnerable in next year's elections. (Interestingly he upset William "Freezer" Jefferson in 2008.) Make sure Cao knows how you feel, and make sure we help the 2nd Congressional district of Louisiana boot his ass out next year, even if it means helping elect a Democrat -- so he can never harm us again.
This is what I'm teaching my children about our American political nightmare, as is Patriot AnnaZ, who shared this image last night on Twitter. I'd suggest we could all extend such knowledge to our children.
Stay Angry. Tomorrow's another day. We're not done fighting ... not by a longshot.

You can see the strain on Pelosi´s already typically haggard face from the pain of labor in delivering this 2000-lb baby. We knew there was a strong possibility it would happen, but we also know her newborn is now going to have to run the Senate gauntlet.

I am right with you here ready to fight, Dr. Dave. This nightmare must end!! Pelosi is the most dangerous woman in America and needs to be crushed like a bug. She is the evil bitch of the west. We must make it known to Cao that we are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. He needs to be booted out.

Very true, securing liberty is not easy. Our mettle will be tested and the best and worst of us will manifest when the full measure of leftist progressivism is brought to bear.
The vote coming from the Louisiana Rep was a surprise, but then he comes from a very liberal district which I am familiar with. Yup we lost a battle but not the war and the fight in the Senate will be something to watch with Harry R. having to please the liberal while protecting his seat and his position---he will most certainly lose one or the other or both.
