Happy Your Ass Will Be Taxed Year

Excuse me while I move some files from the Word Press site over here so I can delete that thing forever. If you didn't see this before, now's your chance!

Previously published 1/2/2010

Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil?Ayn Rand

On Christmas day, a cousin of mine, in his 20s, an affable, liberal-minded guy who works in the movie industry and voted for Zero, stunningly admitted: “I get more conservative every time I look at what the government takes from my paycheck.”

My young cousin, and many more like him, are about to become even more self-aware this year … as they watch their paychecks evaporate like a drop of water spilled in the Sahara. That’s because the rats crawling around the District of Criminals didn’t renew the Bush tax cuts, effectively making Monday the first business day of The Year Your Ass Will Be Taxed. In other words, my dear already overtaxed friends, the Congresscriminals, on behalf of the One who promised that families making less than $250,000 would NOT see a tax increase in any form, just raised your bloody taxes.

You’d be hard-pressed, however, to find someone in the general public who knows about this sort of thing because, you know, the MSM was too busy helping Congress pass healthcare deform bills this fall to report much about “evil” tax cuts. But you can bet that extra $13 we’re all getting in our paychecks each week from the stimulus will still be a tremendous help this year to pay for … oh, I don’t know … another channel on DirecTV to divert us from worrying about the nation’s economic “recovery.”

(BTW: if you are planning to die, this will be the year to do it for free. Don’t you just love the benevolence of our dear caretakers?)

Really, I don’t see how any American citizen can still support 99.9 percent of Congress or the pResident. Everywhere you turn, there’s another tax and another “mandate” and another example of waste from every level of government. For instance, did you know that while your money continues to be flushed down the Fannie and Freddie toilet, if you live in the District of Criminals you now get to pay for each plastic shopping bag you use? You can bet plastic bag fever will be spreading to local governments everywhere this year because, you know, the only good ideas now come from Washington … or the U.N.

It’s all for the public good, anyway. After all, social re-engineering did wonders last century for the Soviet Union, Europe, and most of South America and Asia. Hey, if you feel guilty about living in the best country in the world, why not destroy it and lower yourself to everyone else’s standards?

All of which brings us here.

I know I’m going to start sounding like a broken record soon, but I will say this early and often in 2010 until we right this sinking ship:

In 2009, The Year of Obamafail, the legislative and executive branches of the federal government ignored millions of us who pounded on their doors and told them to take their healthcare policy and their carbon tax policies and their bailouts and their pork-barrel spending and their nationalization of just about every American business except the porn industry and … shove it all up their asses.

At this point, I’d say that if you don’t feel revulsion towards your Congresscriminal, from either loser party – the looters who take more and more from you to help Zero accomplish his social revolution and spread your wealth among the moochers (those who expect to live off the government) – if their actions don’t make you want to hang every last one by their genitals until they give your freedom back to you, you’re either brain dead or clinically insane, in which case, I’d recommend you jam a pistol in your mouth and cock the hammer and pull the trigger and leave the world to those of us who do the heavy lifting and who have our minds right and who will resolve to vote these bastards out of office, every last one.

Obama Coffeebags* America

Image via Michelle Malkin

"Everything's been said."

"The debate is over."

"I don't see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren't starting over."

"The time to act is now."

More than a year after summoning Congress to act, Obama said, while introducing the 7,490,592nd iteration of Obamacare: "This is where we've ended up."

Right at the gates of the eighth circle of Hell.

P.S. Check out how the Zombiecrats plan to roll out this latest monstrosity, at Right Klick's Obamacare Strategery.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Coffeebagging:
A spin-off of teabagging, the dipping of one's posterior onto the face of a lying-down victim.

Like teabagging, coffeebagging is often employed in first-person shooting games such as Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, where a player will squat over the body of a player who he/she has fragged. Hence the second player was "coffeebagged."

Halo 2: "You were coffeebagged by Chris

Chris: "I like coffeebagging"
And now the Conservative description of members of the bitter Coffee Party.

BTW: Remember when Obama said Zombiecrats shouldn't use reconciliation to pass Obamacare? Yeah. We shouldn't have expected him to honor that promise either.

UPDATED ... They're Going to Starve the Beast

That's right. And regressives think Obamacare is about them.

Hardly.

It's about throttling the health insurance industry to the point where no one can get coverage for treatment of even a hangnail, causing enough of us middle class morons to scream to the top of Capitol Hill for a government net to save us, in the form of a public option, so they can shove us unceremoniously into the stew among the welfare and social security entitlement classes, cooking our asses for good, forever yoking our lives to the Zombiecrat Party, our benevolent demons of lower prices for all.

Allah has more:
They’re going to starve the beast, to borrow a line that’s suddenly back in vogue on the NYT op-ed page, and then replace it. That’s one easy point for the GOP to make at the summit on Thursday; another, anticipated last night by the Times and already in full swing this morning among GOP aides, is that having a price-control mechanism in place even before O-Care’s up and running tells you a lot about what the Dems expect will happen to premiums once this debacle passes. But those are big-picture long-term critiques whereas The One’s thinking short-term, i.e. whom does he need to demagogue to kick up just enough popular support to finally get this thing through Congress and off the table. The boss emeritus saw this coming two weeks ago after the uproar in California over the Anthem rate hikes and now here it is, just in time for the 60-day push. It’d be lovely to think the GOP will challenge him on this come Thursday, but let’s face it: Defending free-market insurance rate-setting while anti-Anthem populist outrage is roiling is a poison pill, particularly given their wariness of carrying the “party of big business” label into November. Expect them to challenge him on cost instead — estimated pricetag: $1 trillion over 10 years — and of course on unintended consequences to Medicare. We are, after all, the party of AARP now.
Welcome to the new slavery.

UPDATE: Below is a list of swingvote Congresscritters (who probably swing AC/DC, too) that Opie from MAinfo dropped in the comments and deserves promotion here.

UPDATED (NOW WITH MORE SNARK!): The Proper Response to Obugger's Health Care Rumor Hotline

I think Overkill said it best.

Some cribbed lyrics for those who can't stand thrash metal (wimps): "We don't care what you say: FUCK YOU!"

For proper frame of reference, check this Stalinesque shit out:
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
Or maybe this will help put to rest the issue of who is a liar: NakedEmporerNews or THE PRESIDENT...

h/t: The Big Feed and Nickie Goomba

WHICH, should naturally be followed by this:

UDPATE: I was going to report H.R. 3200 to Obugger's watchdog email address as something fishy I found on the Internet, but then I figured he'd never read the bill.

So I checked out "Open" congress.org, where you can read the bill without spraining your wrist scrolling through the pdf here. If you go to "open" congress.org, take a gander at the righthand side of the page, specifically at the statistics on people who've let Congress know what they think of the bill:
12% Users Support Bill
180 in favor / 1325 opposed
You have to sign up for an account and give the government all kinds of identifiable information, so the actual number of people who've VIEWED the document as lurkers has to be much higher.

But of those who've taken the time to speak freely and give the government a name and address (obviously, it's easy to make up fake information), I think the results are pretty startling.

UPDATE II: Wow. This is the FIRST article I've seen in the media about this "fishy" business. Nice of the MSM to be out in vast numbers to vehemently defend the First Amendment. Oh...I'm sorry. It's their First Amendment, not ours? Huh. You learn something new every day.

“We Rescued the Economy”

That’s a funny way to say “we’re still in a deep recession.” When the third round of layoffs went through my little company three weeks ago, the first thing I thought was, “Wow. That Obama, he’s really rescued the economy.”

Yeah, you rescued the economy, Obugger. That's why unclaimed dead bodies are stacking up in the Los Angeles County morgue because their relatives have so much money they’re just letting the government have the honor of footing the bill for the burials. That's why you need a federal toilet paper tax so you can pay for all those extra flushes you need to send just about every good business model down the crapper. That's why some New Yorkers could be paying as much as 60 percent of their income in taxes if you manage to Rahm your Obamacare plan through despite more than 50 percent of the population thinking you're the one we should send on the first manned mission to Mars, the sooner the better.

Yeah, you rescued the economy. That's why Detroit, one of the former symbols of economic ingenuity and craftsmanship and hard work, will now forever be a ghost town, when the only city deserving of such a fate is Washington, D.C. That’s why Michigan's unemployment is surging toward 20 percent, and at least 15 of your "57 states" just went over 10 percent unemployment last month. You know the economy is rescued when one in 5 state employees is collecting unemployment.

Yeah, you rescued the economy. That's why Cauli-for-nia's been sending out IOUs not only to citizens waiting for tax refunds but also to creditors waiting for the gubernator to pay the bills. That's why 27,000 criminals could be released on the streets of California because the economy is sooooo good they need extra workers to pick phantom crops that grew in our imaginations because you won't let farmers water their fields.

Yeah, you rescued the economy. That's why Joey "Slapstick" Biden's walking around talking about spending money we don't have in order to keep from going bankrupt. That's why you've been quietly telling people, who are just trying to stop you from making terrible policy mistakes because you haven't even read what your health care bills says, that they're going "to destroy [your] presidency." That's why it's not about you; it's about YOU.

Yeah, you rescued the economy. That’s why we have a cap and tax bill that would cost the average family $4,000 a year that won’t pass the Senate because members of your own caucus would rather wrap a rope around their necks and tie it to a parking meter and get in their cars and hit the gas pedal. That’s why no one’s buying cars from the shell of a company called Government Motors that you now effectively own because they must be waiting for the little one-seater 20 hp version of the Hummer to come out. That’s why Missouri Rep. Russ Carnahan got booed off the stage for telling baldfaced lies that your health care plan would actually MAKE the federal government money.

So while you’re up there pandering your $1.3 trillion or $3 trillion or $300 gazillion government takeover of my wallet and that of every other hard working American, while you’re up there worrying about your presidency being destroyed because you keep talking about getting so much done while little if anything (except government largess) gets done, while you’re up there wondering about your dwindling support among “conservative” members of your own party, among independents, among regular American people who don't have your elitist attitude but who are definitely waking up (finally), you may want to think about this:

This economy isn’t “rescued,” not by a long shot. And if it does get better while you’re still in office, remember that while your Waterloo moment may be coming you’ve still done enough damage in 6 months to leave us with plenty of reasons for years to come to invade China so we don't have to pay them back.

Now, if you’ll excuse me. I’m not very interested in hearing you speak tonight. I have a movie to watch to prepare for the future. It’s called Dumb and Dumber.

That'll be $595,000 a Pound, Mr. Obama

Here's economic stimulus for you, and yet another sign of President Barack Obama's brilliance.

Over at the Obama web site set up to show us just where the funny money is going, and what it's stimulating, we find out key economic details of this country's recovery, such as ham that costs $595,000 a pound.

You know this link will disappear once Obugger finds out the blogosphere is all over this little tidbit of government ham and cheese, so I'm pasting the information over here, a bit awkward to read but still clear as a bell.

Just one question, Mr. President? How much did the mustard cost?

UPDATE: Well, then...someone must have received a lot of calls this a.m. in D.C. because they're out defending ham. It was the packaging size: States bought 760,000 pounds, at $1.50 a pound, to feed the hungry.

Now...if only they'd react this quickly when we try to shut down their circuit boards with outraged calls over Porkulus and Omnibus and Cap-and-Slave and Obuggercare.

Not likely. They only like to point out when others are wrong...never when they're wrong.

The Money You Could Be Saving...

...if Obugger weren't president.

Really, it should read:

The money you won't be saving 20 years after Obugger leaves the White House...

"...and his chickens come home to roost," to quote the Rev. "God-Damn America!" Wright.

But for now, even the little things like my $13 a week "tax cut" that will go away next year when the (real) Bush tax cuts aren't renewed...and cap and trade...and sin taxes on the contents of my liquor cabinet...and Obuggercare...and higher gas prices for no reason...and impending stagflation...and credit card companies jacking their APR up to 27% (yeah, I found that one in a bill today)...well...they matter.
