Bad Friggin' Paintings of b. Hussein

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

Like I've said already today, I just can't get away from this fool on Fool's day.

A website, devoid of words, is dedicated solely to friggin' awful paintings of Zero...

Click on the first painting, and just keep on clicking.

Make sure you have a garbage can next to you...the 40 gallon kind you put out on the curb each week.

Because you'll want to friggin' hurl.

b. Hussein's iPod Gaffe with Queen Liz

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

I knew I couldn't go an entire day without posting something specifically about b. Hussein. At least it's real news, not fool news. Then again, it IS about a fool:
Barack Obama met the Queen at Buckingham Palace today and gave her a gift of an iPod loaded with video footage and photographs of her 2007 United States visit to Richmond, Jamestown and Williamsburg in Virginia. In return, the Queen gave the President a silver framed signed photograph of herself and the Duke of Edinburgh - apparently a standard present for visiting dignitaries.

It is believed the Queen already has an iPod, a 6GB silver Mini version she is said to have bought in 2005 at the suggestion of Prince Andrew.
The guy says he'll allow time for us to view legislation on the Internet, then signs the biggest spending bill in history hours after it hits his desk. He says he'll go through every bill, line by line, and won't sign it if there's pork, yet he signed Porkulus and then Omnibusporkulus, itself having nearly 9,000 bits of pork. He gives Gordon Cyclops Brown DVDs that won't work in England.

Does this guy do ANYTHING that doesn't wind up being fucked?

Bunny boiler Glenn Close digs into rabbit food during bizarre talk show contest

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).
Glenn Close's talent knows no bounds.

The esteemed Hollywood actress crammed handfuls of baby carrots into her mouth in a bizarre challenge on American talk show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

The 62-year-old started out by explaining how her daughter Annie once managed to put 42 carrots in her mouth at an impromptu contest at a family gathering...
I'm not even going to get into exploring how strange this scene was. I'll let The Mail explain it for you.

Smoke 'em if You Got 'em -- at Your Desk

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

Now you can smoke from your desk! The healthier, smokeless, geekier way to smoke!
Need a nicotine fix but can't leave your cube? No problem! Puff on a Health E-Cigarette from Thanko! Identical to pretty much every other electronic cigarette out there, the $30 device "uses a heating element to vaporize a nicotine solution to supposedly give you a purer smoking experience," which is just fancy marketing jargon for, "short-circuit and burn your office to the ground." Trust me folks, I hold a Master's in Marketing.
Problem: It still won't help defray the cost of that .62 cent federal tax on every pack that went into effect today.

Old Nigerian Dude Caught With Huge Smoke Stash

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

Maybe smoking pot is why he's 114...it certainly explains him claiming to be that old...

"Dude...how old am I? Umm...114...I think...uhhhuhhuhhuh..."

LAGOS (Reuters) - Nigeria's anti-narcotics agency confiscated 6.5 tones of marijuana Tuesday from the home of a man who claimed to be 114 years old.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said it had found 254 sacks of cannabis at the home of Sulaiman Adebayo in Ogun state, north of the commercial capital Lagos.

"The quantity of drugs suggests a large scale involvement ... There is more to the case than Pa Sulaiman," NDLEA chairman Ahmadu Giade said in a statement.

Adebayo, who said he had been a farmer all his life, told police he thought the sacks contained rice.

Cardboard Coyotes Fool Police into Take Down

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

SARNIA, Ont. - A cardboard cutout of a coyote designed to scare off Canada geese in Centennial Park proved so realistic it prompted an attempted police takedown.

City hall staff saw the animal cutouts advertised and, hoping they might help reduce goose droppings in the waterfront park, spent $60 on a pair and set them up last summer.

But after a few weeks the cutouts vanished.

"We just figured vandals took them," said Terry McCallum, Sarnia's director of community services. "You can't put up any really fancy signs in the park because they usually disappear."

But the full story has only now emerged.

A jogger out for a run early one morning came across the coyote cutouts and was so startled she ran to a nearby construction site. There she told a worker a coyote had "barked" at her and she was afraid it would give chase, McCallum said.

The worker called 911 and Sarnia police were dispatched. They arrived on the scene and quickly surrounded the coyote, only then discovering it was made of cardboard.

Well...there's a nice use of government resources.

Playmo-Bible Priest Sued

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).
A German priest who transformed Playmobil figures into biblical characters -- such as Adam and Eve and Jesus on the cross -- has found himself facing legal action from the toys' creators.

Using a candle, the priest, Markus Bomhard, partially melted down the tiny figures to create biblical scenes, which he then posted on his website -- "Playmo-Bible"

The website shows, amongst others, a Playmobil Noah in the ark, a Playmobil Mary on a donkey and a Playmobil Jesus in the manger.

Even Pope Benedict XVI has reportedly praised Bomhard's work, writing to the priest: "may your project allow many children and adults access to Holy Scripture."

But Playmobil's creators are not so enthusiastic, threatening to take Bomhard to court for copyright violation.

"For private purposes -- by collectors and fans -- we are very tolerant of this so-called 'customising'," the German company said in a statement released late Tuesday.

However, Bomhard's transformation of the figures represents a "massive manipulation of the figures, for example reshaping their arms with a hairdryer or candle to nail them to a cross," the company said.

"We can not accept such transformations for safety reasons as our products are made from plastic and are flammable," Playmobil added.

Aww...what's the matter, Playmobil. Afraid people might get a little religion?

Pay Bomhard a visit, here.

Lenin Blows it Out His Ass

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).
Vandals blew a gaping hole in the rear end of a statue of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin on Wednesday, but Russian officials were not amused by the "monstrous" act of vandalism.

Strange New Taxes on Pretty Much Everything

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).
Behold, America: the taxman cometh.

Even as taxpayers are struggling to make ends meet in a crumbling, tumbling economy, your friendly neighborhood (and state and federal) government is having a hard time making do with the meager trillions you're throwing its way, so it's relying on an old maxim:

If it exists, it can be taxed.

From Fox News.
Street lights, booze, hooker transactions in Vegas, gentleman's clubs, porn. What on earth is the world coming to? And how's this fit into b. Hussein's "no new taxes for those earning under $250,000" promise?

Starving Your Kid to Death Is Not Insane

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

It's just friggin' dumb, and no doubt evil...

BALTIMORE (AP) — A former religious cult member who helped starve her son to death believes he will be resurrected, but legal experts say her extreme faith doesn't make her criminally insane. The mother made an extraordinary deal with prosecutors Monday that her guilty plea to child abuse resulting in death will be withdrawn if her 1-year-old son, Javon Thompson, comes back to life. Law experts and psychiatrists said there was no problem with the agreement because Ria Ramkissoon, 22, was mentally competent and freely entered into the deal, and extreme religious beliefs aren't deemed insane by law.

"To say that someone is crazy because they have beliefs is very difficult," said Dr. Jonas Rappeport, a retired forensic psychiatrist and the former chief medical officer for Baltimore Circuit Court. "If I believe that God wants me to starve my child, that gets close to the edge, but it's very questionable as to calling that an illness that would exonerate someone for a crime."

Drinking and Driving on a Barstool: BAD!

In honor of April Fool's day, I'm posting only real news today (what a friggin' concept).

From the San Francisco Chronicle:
Authorities in Ohio say a man has been charged with drunken driving after crashing his motorized bar stool. Police in Newark, 30 miles east of Columbus, say when they responded to a report of a crash with injuries on March 4, they found a man who had wrecked a bar stool powered by a deconstructed lawn mower.

Twenty-eight-year Kile Wygle was hospitalized for minor injuries. Police say he was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after he told an officer at the hospital that he had consumed 15 beers. Wygle told police his motorized bar stool can go up to 38 mph.

Wygle has pleaded not guilty and has requested a jury trial.
DOH!
