Never Go Full Retard, Regressives

NEVER GO FULL RETARD

Yes. I'm calling for WAR against lawlessness. Yes. I fear we are stumbling over the edge. Yes. We are being ruled by a stuttering clusterfuck of a miserable failure and 544 other buffoons

And. Yes. We. Are. Slaves. This comment on my piece from yesterday, posted here and at Conservative Hideout, just proves what I've been saying all along (The quoted lines are from my WAR piece.):

“This is no longer America. You no longer have the opportunity for the American Dream.”
“THIS IS WAR.”
No its not. This is the rule of law. You are making a utterly foolish spectacle of yourself doing the ‘chicken little – the sky is falling’ routine.
This is USA, the will of the people, and how the system works. The people’s Congress passed the ACA. The President of USA has signed the ACA bill into law. The Supreme Court of USA has declared the ACA constitutional.
Get over yourself.
“Barack Obama swept into office in 2008 with a promise of hope and change, but in reality he’s fundamentally changed America –JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD – and that “change” is to effectively dash all hope for any kind of future whatsoever.”
You have forgotten USA is the land of the free, home of the brave? Having a safety under the high-flying trapeze artist does not prevent the artist from being any better or worse than the individual wants to be.
The crux of the matter is so simple. You have convince yourself that you do not want a safety net for yourself (for reasons known only to the universe). It pi$$es you off to no end to think that there are others who do want a higher quality of life and are willing to pay for it.
“You, we, me — we’re all slaves now.”
Living in an advanced, modern, civil society makes one a slave?! Really?

Never go full retard, regressives. Stop chooming the unicorn farts and step away from the stupid.

The Dream Is Over: SCOTUS Says You're No Longer Free

This is no longer America. You no longer have the opportunity for the American Dream. You, we, me -- we're all slaves now. The Supreme Court of the United States of America has just made it official.

Congress has abandoned you. The executive branch has abandoned you.  SCOTUS has abandoned you. The lapdog media has abandoned you.

I had hopes, coming into today, that SCOTUS would uphold the rule of law, that the President of the United States and his Congresscriminal henchmen (and women) would not be allowed to rule you like king and court. I had hopes that the possibility of the American Dream, though tarnished and bloated by a monolith of ineffectual and overtly socialist federal government (from BOTH parties), could be reclaimed in November.

I no longer have any such hope. Barack Obama swept into office in 2008 with a promise of hope and change, but in reality he's fundamentally changed America -- JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD -- and that "change" is to effectively dash all hope for any kind of future whatsoever. He will do whatever he must to win in November. The Supreme Court just gave him the most significant boost of his presidency. Even the Stock Market fears the dream is over, tumbling after the SCOTUS decision was announced.

From the SCOTUSblog, while 866,000 people watched the live blog, the ruling came down:
  • In a ruling by turncoat, un-American, and heretoforetobe reviled, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the Court does not reach severability issues, having upheld the mandate 5-4. The Court holds that the mandate violates the Commerce Clause, but that doesn't matter because there are five votes for the mandate to be constitutional under the taxing power. "Our precedent demonstrates that Congress had the power to impose the exaction in Section 5000A under the taxing power, and that Section 5000A need not be read to do more than impose a tax. This is sufficient to sustain it."
  • You CANNOT refuse to pay the tax. The only effect of not complying with the mandate is that you pay the tax. (A tax that Obama himself previously said WASN'T a tax.)
  • Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg makes clear that the vote is 5-4 on sustaining the mandate as a form of tax. Her opinion, for herself and Justices Sotomayor, Breyer and Kagan, joins the key section of Roberts opinion on that point. She would go further and uphold the mandate under the Commerce Clause, which Roberts wouldn't. Her opinion on Commerce does not control.
  • In dissent, Justice William Kennedy, JUSTICE WILLIAM KENNEDY!, wrote: "In our view, the entire Act before us is invalid in its entirety." It's a vast judicial overreach.
But dissenting opinons don't help you hold onto your freedom. There is no room in this country for freedom anymore. None whatsoever. (The actual majority opinion is here.)

William Jacobson over at Legal Insurrection says we need to fight back at the voting booth.

I recently said the same:

In these spend times we are nearing end times. The center cannot hold. It's already beyond being off axis.
In the coming 5 months we have a decision to make. Do we let our country die? Do we let our way of life die? Do we let ourselves die?
Choosing Mitt Romney over Barack Obama is infinitely more palatable than continuing on this path of destruction we follow. We have great sacrifices to make. We will have to retire later than we planned. We will have to expect less government entitlements than we were "promised" when we were forced to give the government our money to fund them. Then more money. And still more money. (Hell, every year we vote to tax ourselves locally for infrastructure projects many of us never see come to life, because often that money is diverted to other expenditures, just like the entitlement taxes we pay.) We will have to make the biggest gut check of our lives. We will have to hold the limbs of the people we elect to take over this monstrosity to more than just a fire; we will have to tie them to a rack and torture them, if necessary, to right this sinking ship.
I've been hearing "let's go to the voting booth and take back this country" all of my adult life. Like many of you, I've voted my conscience, or at least on what I thought was in the best interest of this country to keep it somewhere within the framework of a Constitutional Republic, however ridiculous and misguided an exercise that was.

The fact is, we've allowed 100 Senators, 435 Congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices — 545 human beings out of the 300 million who are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country -- to cajole us, to patronize us, to lie to us, to horrify us, to control us from their sick little pulpits in the District of Criminals.

FIVE-HUNDRED-AND-FORTY-FIVE PEOPLE RULE OVER 300 MILLION.

It's time we stop letting them.

Congress has abandoned you. The executive branch has abandoned you. The Supreme Court has abandoned you. Their watchdogs, the media, have abandoned you.

What are you going to do about it?

I know what I'm going to do: Tear the monolith down by whatever means necessary.

THIS IS WAR.

Guess What's on the Menu for the Dinner With Barack Contest?

Obama ate a dog. It was in his memoir, so it must be true. And when we found out, the jokes flowed like the river of campaign money he's been spending. Except we didn't run out. They're still coming.

That's because, while Demorrhoids keep running away from Obama along with his diminishing campaign funds, Obama's Twitterbot keeps tweeting photos of B.O. and Bo, as if the hilarity of the admission never occurred, even though we all know he prefers pitbull

I wonder if our king will bring Bo when he rides his rainbow bus through Pennsylvania next week, raising money from the little people while I'm there. (Does he have to ruin my vacation, too?)

But don't worry, I'm not racist; I'm just heckling his white half.

At least some poor sucker will know what's on the menu for the Dinner with Barack contest. Then, again, maybe that's not such a good idea.

Get Your Free Obama Phone

He never delivered on the Obamamaniac's desires for him to pay for their mortgage and gas, but Barack Obama  can give you a free phone. (Question: Since when does a government program have a .net address?)

Predictably, if you're already sucking on the government teat, you automatically qualify for a phone:
If you, or members in your household are, receiving the following benefits you automatically qualify for the Lifeline program. Those interested in the program must have an income of less than 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. (For example in the 48 Contiguous States and D.C the income level is $22,350 per year for a family of four.)
  • Food Stamps or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Security Income – commonly known as SSI
  • Health Benefit Coverage under Child Health Insurance Plan (CHIP)
  • The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program.
  • Low-Income Energy Assistance Program – LIHEAP
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance ( Section 8 )
  • If you are a low-income Eligible Resident of Tribal Lands
  • Temporary Assistance to Needy Families – TANF
Last year, the federal program paid out $1.6 billion to cover free cell phones and the monthly bills of 12.5 million wireless accounts. Naturally an audit showed that many people getting you to pay for their phones were taking more than their "fair share."
269,000 wireless Lifeline subscribers were receiving free phones and monthly service from two or more carriers.
You can imagine the number of participants is only going to climb. I mean, it's not like that money could be used to create jobs jobs jobs, or something.

But jobs have never been Obama's top priority; getting re-elected has. Does he really think giving someone a free phone will buy their vote?

Oh. Wait.

UPDATED: Aaron Worthing (Walker) Was Swatted, Tells What Happened

In yet another SWATing event, @aaronworthing (Walker) reported on Twitter tonight that he was swatted:

Presumably over this:
I am free once again to do something very simple.  I am allowed to say the name Brett Kimberlin again.  The fact I was not allowed to do so, even in a post directed to the world at large and rather than any communication directed to Kimberlin himself, is a sign that things have gone horribly wrong in the Maryland legal system.  But more on that later.
This is the umpteenth time a conservative blogger has had something similar happen, from Patterico, to Stacy McCain, to Worthing, to et al. It's beyond ridiculous, and we're all beyond tired of it.

I assume Brett Kimberlin, the man "presumably" behind all of this, hasn't the balls to confront someone on his own property. That's actually probably the only smart thing Kimberlin, a serial criminal, has ever done.

More to come as it develops.

For realtime updates on what the twittersphere has to say, see Twitchy. Stacy McCain and IOTW and American Power and Joe Brooks and Nice Deb and Conservative Hideout and Bob Belvedere and Legal Insurrection are following this story too...

UPDATE: Patterico says the following:

I just got off the phone with Aaron and he and his wife are a little shaken up but OK. The officers had machine guns but did not point them at Aaron. They were quickly able to determine it was a hoax.
Aaron plans to post about it later.
UPDATE II: Aaron wasn't particularly gloating about the court decision today; he was ecstatic that he could finally speak freely, you know, exercising his right to the First Amendment that was unconstitutionally denied by a geezer judge who didn't know what Twitter was. More to follow when Twitter stops being it's usually buggy self.

About the most "egregious" thing Aaron did today was post this video from Braveheart's William Wallace screaming FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOMMMMMM! That's definitely fodder for SWATting, no?

UPDATE III: Aaron's checked in:
UPDATE IV: Make sure you check out the curiously titled post at BreitbartUnmasked, which is tied to Kimberlin, (though I loathe to link), "To Swat Or Not Swat That Is The Question.

UPDATE V: Erick Erickson (who was also swatted), weighs in. Plus, a look at Brett Kimberlin's protector (from the ORIGINAL Velvet Undeground, the name of Kimberlin's political activist organization:
UPDATE VI: I've been watching all of the Kimberlin goons on Twitter for weeks ... tonight, despite their normal vociferous badgering of any number of conservatives (and conspicuously) each other, they've gone dark:
UPDATE VII: Predictably, there's still no word on when Congress will address this swatting issue, despite numerous calls from DC lifers, from Saxby Chambliss to 85 members of Congress, to investigate and stop this heinous practice. But, hey, that was two weeks ago. Eric Holder, the man they want to investigate swatting, is the prize right now (and for good reason).

UPDATE VIII: Visit The Trenches for some of the best inside reporting on the ongoing, bizarre, convoluted Kimberlin story (it's a link to the site, because there are far too many posts to which to link).

UPDATE IX: Breitbart has contacted the Prince William County, Virginia, PD regarding the incident, confirming Worthing (Walker) was swatted.

UPDATE X: Kimberlin lackey @OccupyRebellion finally surfaced. Keep checking its timeline for more misinformation.

So anyone following along on twitter know the basics.  I was SWATted tonight.  My wife was down in the basement, and unknown to me she had fallen asleep in an uncomfortable position while watching TV.  I was just finishing up a post where I was going to share Kimberlin’s nutty response to my motion for a partial stay when someone decided to recklessly endanger my life.
I mean again.  Let’s not forget the last time someone intentionally engaged in conduct that they knew could get me and my wife killed.  In that case we know who the culprit was: Brett Kimberlin.  He intentionally and gratuitously revealed my real name, home address, work and work address, in court documents and then told the police in a letter that he believed because of his actions that “there exists the very real probability that Mr. Walker could be subjected to serious harm or death now that his identity has been exposed.”  And then he fought tooth and nail to keep that information from being sealed, and then fought to get them unsealed.
But tonight we don’t know who did it, although I knew who to tell the police to look at.  I won’t say their names here, of course.
I [was] writing when there was a knock at the door.  A second knock came and it was very insistent.  I went to the door and looked through the peep hole and there was nothing.  I said something like, “hello?” and someone firmly said, “open the door!”
I opened up to find two cops hugging the front of the house.  They had M4’s as I recognized from video games (see?! They are good for something!) and they later confirmed.  They were not pointed at my face like it had been with Patrick.  They were pointed at the ground.
(When I told my mother that, she said not to minimize it.  No, obviously whoever it was doing their best to get me killed.  Fortunately the police were not so easily tricked.)
UPDATE XII: Congresswoman Sandy Adams (R), FL-24, has released a statement on this latest swatting
With the increase in these dangerous incidents, it is clear that our citizens and law enforcement officers are at risk. I hope Attorney General Holder seriously considers the letter my colleagues and I sent him asking the Department of Justice to investigate these incidents and prosecute the perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law.

Desperado: The Official Obama 2012 Campaign Song

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out campaigning for so long now
Oh, you're a weak one
Though we know you think you're Jesus
This money you beg for
You won't find it somehow

Don't you invoke executive privilege, boy
We'll beat you if we're able
You know hiding the truth is always your worst bet

Now it seems to me, the easy way
Was handed to you by default
But you only want the money you can't get

Desperado, oh, your campaign ain't gettin' easier
Your blame and plunder, they're drivin' us mad
And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just something you ignore
Your prison is waiting when we toss you out the door

Don't your feet get cold when the polls go south?
Your lies get bigger when you open your mouth
It's hard to tell the ignorant from the insane
You're losin' all your party base
Ain't it funny how the voters go away?

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
Stop begging for money, forget that November date
It may be rainin', but there's no  rainbow above you
You better quit while you're behind, before it's too late

UPDATE: Linked by IMAO. THANKS!

Genius Barack Obama: The U.S. Needs "Bottom-up Economics"

I'm sure bottom-up economics (you know, from the 49% percent of the population that doesn't pay taxes) fueling a recovery in Barack Obama's next term will ... drain all swamps.

I know, maybe Obama can use eminent domain to confiscate every underwater middle class family home, then turn around and sell them to Mexican drug cartels.

Or let's confiscate all of the 50-inch HDTV screens from welfare recipients and peddle them to underprivileged countries.

Wait. You know what will jump-start the economy? Selling tickets to an MRI of Joe Biden's brain.

Or naming a homeless guy the Czar of Bottom-up Economics; he'd probably be just as qualified as Obama's current czars.

Even a pay-per-bow system every time Obama visits with a dignitary could do more good for the economy than anything that comes from his Marx-addled brain.

The comedy of horrors continues.

It's All Falling Apart for Barack Obama

It's time for Barack Obama to shed some tears. The wheels are coming off his rainbow covered bus. It's all falling apart. Come January, you'll see David Axelrod as a pall bearer, hoisting the coffin of a dead presidency on its way out of the District of Criminals.

The lapdog media is getting wise. Democrats are boycotting the DNC, to avoid the train wreck of a failed amateur, looking beyond what they anticipate will be Obama's single term, and positioning themselves to survive the aftermath. Jay Leno is slamming Obama's campaign spending. Hollywood is worried about Obama's celebrity.

It's all too delicious.

And now comes this: Obama's own base is turning on him over his 23rd hour invocation of executive privilege this week, calling him a "sheep in wolf's clothing."

BOOM!
The garbage propagated by the Obama Administration is not going unnoticed by some liberals. Some are indeed calling him out.
Over at the Daily Kos, an article slammed him for his incompetency and lack of transparency:

At Reddit, many users have had enough with the President's broken promises. Here are just a few examples (click on images for better quality).
"A wolf in sheep's clothing:""Transparency my ass:"Blood on his hands:
Even at Democratic Underground some (though certainly not most) actually thought about what the President was doing:
H/T: IOTW

The irony. The hilarity. The "chickens coming home to roost." I could die laughing right now.

But it gets better. Gallup has Obama's approval rating down to 43%, a staggering drop of 7% in just two weeks, and Rasmussen has Mitt Romney up 5 points now. That's what happens when you manhandle the Constitution not once but twice in 7 days.

It's a long summer ahead, but it looks to be a blistering one for the most arrogant man in the world.

He deserves it.

The President MUST Be Involved in an Issue to Invoke Executive Privilege

By now, you probably know that President Barack Obama invoked executive privilege to stall Congress' attempt to get Attorney General Eric Holder to fork over documents in the Fast and Furious Scandal.

You probably also know, by now, that Obama explicitly spoke out against executive privilege before he was president, saying "the American people need to know what's going on," in yet another classic "do as I say, not as I do" moment brought to you by the first dictator in the history of the United States.

But did you know the president has to be involved in a situation in order to invoke executive privilege?

From the files of Congress:
Under those precedents, the privilege, which is constitutionally rooted, could be invoked by the President when asked to produce documents or other materials or information that reflect presidential decisionmaking and deliberations that he believes should remain confidential.
Note the emphasized language, and the grammar of the sentence that leaves no doubt that the president MUST be involved in whatever issue for which he invokes executive privilege: "when asked to produce documents or other materials or information that reflect PRESIDENTIAL DECISIONMAKING AND DELIBERATIONS.

You won't hear this from the lapdog media. But, hey, I'm just a blogger.

So, what we have here, then, is the president not only protecting Holder, he's also protecting himself.

Meanwhile, over at Think Regress (see comments), the left  is rejoicing about the president's actions, once again, as leftists do, defending the indefensible.

I wonder how the president's new 800,000 voters feel about him covering up information about the murder of Mexicans.

UPDATE: Not only is the president apparently involved in F&F, he's illegitimately using executive privilege to shield wrong doing.

UPDATE II: Breitbart is saying this is deliberative process privilege, rooted in common law not the Constitution, and therefore Obama didn't invoke EP to protect himself.

UPDATE III: But Judge Napolitano says the implication the president is involved is in his actions of claiming executive privilege. H/T: YouViewed

Mantyhosers: Men in Tights (Because They Want It That Way)

We’re losing a war, men, and I’m not talking about the war for the White House. It’s a war on manhood. First there were bronies, men who watch and worship the TV show My Little Pony. Now, just when you thought you it was safe to pull your mancard out of your wallet and act like a caveman, comes mantyhose. Yes. Pantyhose for men. Control top for your tummy. Fashionable nylon to flash beneath your shorts. Outright insanity if you’ve ever considered yourself a man.

According to a growing number of … ahem … “men’s legwear” aficionados, you American men will be trading in your Montecristo No. 2s and flasks of 1792 bourbon for a Venus razor and Activeskin “legwear” any day now. (And, don't forget, you men with boobs will want to ask your wife if you can borrow her bra.)

Why, the mantyhose craze is sweeping Europe, just like socialism is, once again, after spilling over to America in 2008. I mean, the president wears mom jeans and throws like a girl and takes about as long as a woman to make a decision, changing his/her mind 20 times along the way.

It stands to reason that your manhood is going to swing, very soon, for … mantylines.

Hell, your wife will love rubbing up against you in mantyhose, considering that she’d probably rather slit her own wrists than wear a pair of her own hose to the office every damned day. Oh, and you’ll have to start shaving, another inconvenience more than one woman has told me she’d rather do without. Then again, one manly mantyhose man told me on Twitter recently, “Hair belongs only on one part of the body, that’s the head.” (You can stop laughing now.)

What the hell. Let’s go out of our way, men, to do all the things that annoy women, just to feel more womanly. Let’s win hearts and minds (and the metrosexual press, naturally, is eating up this disintegration of manhood), and step away from our mental demons telling us it’s bad to want to dress like a woman and roll up those legs -- BE CAREFUL! one at a time -- without starting a runner and head out to join the rest of the mantyhosers for International Men in Tights Day.

It’s all about style, man ... Wait. Is it man? Can I say that about a guy who wears pantyhose? Didn’t God send an 11th Commandment down from Mt. Sinai with Moses that said “Thou men shall not wear panty hose”?

Just. Make. It. Stop.

I think I need to go run with the bulls in Pamplona and suffer a concussion from a direct hit, just to erase from my mind the fact that I ever even heard the word “mantyhose.”

Hitler Learns Aaron Worthing (Walker) Case Has Been Dismissed

via the original Velvet Revolution

Heh. There's no better way to fight a bully like Brett Kimberlin than to pound him and pound him and pound him. And even when he appears to succeed in pissing all over your First Amendment rights, the wheels of justice reality prevails.

And the reality is we are all Aaron Worthing (Walker). True to Andrew Breitbart's next to last published words -- "apologize for what?" -- we will not apologize. We will not shut up. And we will not be stopped.

A Mind Is a Terrible Thing, Leftists

If I were to write a movie script to describe leftists, I'd call it "A Mind Is a Terrible Thing."

Yesterday on Twitter, while Barack Obama was giving his same speech, different day explanation of the country's economic situation, before leaving Cleveland smellier than he found it, I joined in a guilty pleasure, hashtag games, where snark is a premium and the closer you are to the truth with your tweet, the more it resonates.

This one resonated pretty well:

The fact that Twitchy grabbed up the tweet immediately says my aim was true. The fact that, by my current count, it's received more than 400 retweets, however, tells me there are more stupid people on twitter than those who participated in the 119% voter turnout in some parts of Wisconsin for the Scott Walker recall: About 90 percent of the retweets were from leftists, many of them young blacks. Most of the leftists thought I was sincere; many followed me. Some even got it, and the tweet got under their skin:
I used to think that leftists were clinically insane; now I just think they're stupid. Please make it stop.

I could argue that George Bush isn't to blame for unfunded entitlements to Social Security and Medicare (EXCEPT for the stupid drug plan he forced down our throat). I could argue that Bush isn't responsible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac or the equally bloated and destructive Banking Queen Frank-Dodd law. I could argue that Bush isn't responsible for 70 years of progressive policies aimed at chaining 50 percent of the people in this country to the slave post of government entitlements and/or tax irresponsibility.

But all leftists can scream is: "KATRINA! IRAQ! THE BUSH (Nancy Pelosi-Harry Reid) BAILOUT!"

Four years later, it's still Bush's fault. Bush is obviously responsible for this:

And this.

Bush is obviously responsible for Obama spending the first two years of his presidency paying back his union cronies and inserting Obamacare up our asses and trying to enslave us through cap and tax. Bush is obviously responsible for, AFTER NEARLY FOUR YEARS, real un- and underemployed figures that look like this:

No, leftists aren't insane; they're just stupid. Theywere  born into this world with an inability to connect with facts; they were born into this world with a brain cavity overflowing with liquid LSD; they were born into this world with unrealistic visions of unicorn dreams.

They were born into this world to prove that a mind is a terrible thing.

Stupid kills, leftists. Good luck with that.

Obama Needs More Bacon

When Barack Obama opens his ample mouth, people make fun of him. You can take anything the man says and turn it against him. It's just too easy.

Statements like this make my world go round (about Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign): "You can pretty much put their campaign on, on a tweet and have some characters to spare." (Notice the grammar gaffe, "on, on.")

Queue the LOLOLOLOL:

While we know from the president's mouth that Moochelle Obama doesn't quite like to put things in her mouth,  it's obvious that Obama needs to fill his own. I suggest more bacon; a nice Burger King bacon sundae ought to do the trick.

Moochelle might not approve, but then she has a habit of planning lavish, high-calorie dinners on your dime because, well, she can:

The White House has proposed mandating meals for elementary school kids that include none of these items, or anything like them. Here, for example, is the Wednesday lunch from a proposal on the White House website.
Chef’s salad: (1 cup romaine, .5 oz low-fat mozzarella, 1.5 oz grilled chicken) with whole wheat bread
Soft pretzel (2.5 oz)
Corn, cooked (1/2 cup)
Baby carrots, raw (1/4 cup)
Banana
Skim chocolate milk (8 oz)
Low fat ranch dressing (1.5 oz)
Low fat italian dressing (1.5 oz)
Here’s what the governors got:
Garden salad
Bread and butter
Ribeye steak 12 oz
Creamed spinach
Crab mac and cheese
Pear tart with ice cream
White wine
Based on conservative estimates of caloric totals for each of the items that found their way to the governors’ plates, and assuming consumption of a single glass of wine from the bottles that were placed on the tables, the total intake amounted to about 2,250 calories.
The recommended intake for an adult male during AN ENTIRE DAY is about 2,500 calories. For women, it’s about 2,000 calories.
You won't find that menu in Moochelle's new book, American Grown, but then again you have to show identification to get her to sign it while in most states you can vote if you're dead. It's all part of her Marie Antoinette act, telling you what's black and white for you to eat, all while she plays out 50 shades of grey on a daily basis as only a Demorrhoid can.

Dinner is even better if you attend an Obama fundraiser:

And break out your roulette wheel. You, too, can choose the next celebrity guest for a fundraising dinner! My lucky stars; I think it should be Madonna, baring itty bitty titty.

Such is life when you spend too much time jetting around the world, while your husband golfs and smashes fundraising records. It's hard to keep your focus. Did someone say we need more jobs?

Speaking of jobs, the Theft-Winger in Chief's Twitter account has been tweeting incessantly about the importance for the nation to hire more federal firefighters and teachers, the president apparently forgetting that there aren't any to begin with.

Which begs the question: Was it a Chevy Volt?

Bacon, Mr. President. Fill that big mouth with bacon. You may also want to try some Cherokee.

Without the Lapdog Media, Obama Is Doomed

Minister of Disinformation Jay Carney and the rest of Barack Obama's minions are running scared.

For the first time in a long time the national press called Obama out yesterday, for his "doing just fine" comment last week on the state of the private sector economy. (Except Juan Williams, who parroted Obama, his central processing unit showing its usual signs of damage.)

Carney's response to the press: "you all ought to do your jobs and report on the context" of Obama's gaffe.
I can simply refer you again to what the President talked about as he stood here before you in the context of his rather full discussion of the state of the economy, and the simple fact that in this recovery has seen 4.3 million jobs in the private sector created – it has also seen a situation where, because of massive layoffs of teachers, firefighters and police officers – a reduction in the public sector. And by public sector, we’re talking about state and local governments who have had to layoff teachers from classrooms, firefighters from the force and police officers from the force. That was the context of his comments which I think everyone in this room was aware of at the time.
I watched Obama's "rather full discussion" of the state of economy, resisting the urge to commit seppuku. What I heard was lethargic script reading. He said nothing we didn't already know. Obama was about as lively as a dead fish, except during the questioning period following his "rather full discussion"-- in which he said, with his usual arrogance, that it was offensive for the GOP to accuse his administration of being the source of national security leaks. (Shockingly, it turns out the Obama machine probably is.)

In fact, Obama's defiance in the face of questions about sensitive information leaks is exactly what Carney demonstrated yesterday. Carney's blustering was symptomatic of the administration's official policy in response to controversy: Bully, bully, bully.

And it's more revealing of what's really bothering the administration: If the lapdog media is finally waking up from a four-year Obama high, if the lapdog media is going to start questioning this president and his record (or lack thereof), if the lapdog media is going to start moving toward giving even 10% fair coverage in this election, Obama's in for a tough road.

Obama NEEDS the lapdog media. The lapdog media made Obama because they didn't vet him. The lapdog media didn't tell voters about Jeremiah Wright. The lapdog media didn't tell voters about Bill Ayers. The lapdog media didn't tell voters Obama's ties to ACORN. The lapdog media didn't question the lack of transparency from the candidate who promised the most transparent administration in history. Instead, the lapdog media were caught up in hope and change and presumably snorting unicorn farts. The election of the first black president of these now fractured United States promised to eradicate hundreds of years of bad treatment of minorities in this country in one fell swoop. It would reverse history. It would transform America into a utopia. It would heal all wounds and stem all tides and spread rainbows across the land. Consider the saccharine profile the Washington Post ran on Obama on August 22, 2008.

Mitt Romney, meanwhile, doesn't need the lapdog media. He's already overcome an anti-saccharine, trumped-up WaPo story about his so-called bullying youth and the administration's fiasco in using the lapdog media to denigrate Romney's tenure at Bain Capital, which didn't turn out to be 1/10th as bad as Obama 2012 and the media claimed it was. (Always remember, the lapdog media will tell you one or two "bad" facts but leave out 10 other positive facts, in order to advance the left's narrative.) Romney, in fact, has us, the legion of electronic conservative pundits and activists and everyday citizens who've had enough of the socialist nightmare freight train we're on. Obama has Media Matters, living-with-mom-@Shoq, Mother Jones, and a host of other energized but failing online rejects who couldn't hold a candle to us if we gave them all the wax and wicks in this country.

And we've vetted Romney. We excoriated him during the brutal Republican primaries. We've been harder on him than a rattlesnake treats its prey. I'd wager that, if Romney wins, his administration is going to pay a lot more attention to what the online community and the American people as a whole are telling him about the state of the country than Obama did, probably because he won't be breaking any presidential golfing or fundraising records. He'll be too busy cleaning up after the Demorrhoid in Chief.

The lapdog media isn't going to win any fans. They're not going to do 1/32nd of the job that we will. They've become a de facto arm of the government, and, when leftists are in charge, as long as the president isn't sleeping with interns, they've been content to massage press releases and bland statements from the Whitehouse and pass them off as their own insights.

Until, apparently, now.

If the lapdog media is waking up, if they're becoming aware, if they're finally starting to question this administration, Obama might as well just pack up and quit now, while he's behind.
